Episode 73: The Alien Movies

Crew Roster: Rick, Karen and Kennedy

In This Week’s Visit To The Starbase: After a nice chunk of getting their biatch on about such diverse topics as Space: 1999, dubious e-mail requests, 3D movies, Lovecraft adaptations and the many crimes of George Lucas, it’s time to talk about the Alien movie franchise. Listen to Rick and Kennedy argue, hear Karen roll her eyes, and wonder at how many times Kennedy can say the word “panties” in one podcast.

LOL Lines

Kennedy: “My neighbour next door, Tommy LeGarde, he had a copy of the Playboy Madonna issue. He was like, ‘Come on over, look at this…it’s Madonna naked!’ I was like, ‘Sorry, I’ve got this Millennium Falcon over here I’m gonna stare at that.'”
Rick: “I don’t think I’d go quite that far.”
Karen: “Suddenly, I want to weep for your adolescence.”

LOL Lines

Kennedy: *in comedy Southern U.S. accent* “Any time I hears from all y’all, we get all excited down here at the bayou.”
Daniel: “That’s a Southeren-ism, ’cause ‘y’all’ could be one, if you talk about one person and all the voices in your head or ‘all y’all’ is more than one.”
Rick: *in comedy Canadian accent* “Exactly, what’s that all aboot!?”
