The Show

Somewhere out in the forgotten depths of space, near the borders of the Klingon, Minbari, and Cylon empires floats Starbase 66.

This lonely island of civilization is manned by a triumvirate of Über Geeks whose knowledge of Star Trek and all things speculative is as vast as the uncharted depths of the cosmos. Join the Admiral, Ro Karen, and Kennedy as they while away the hours between canasta games with Dave in the brig by discussing anything and everything Trek, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, comicsy, or anything else that makes most people roll their eyes and sigh with nerdy disapproval.

No medium is off limits as they talk about television, movies, books, graphic novels, toys, and even graphic arts and news. Join them and their frequent guest stars from all over the world for a sometimes serious, sometimes silly, but always interesting talk about your favorite forays into the multiverse of speculative fiction.

Hey guys love the show. Only been listening for about 4 months but love the show and am working my way through the back catalogue here in my home of sunny Leeds, England (it’s not actually that sunny).

Anyway, I’m a huge Battlestar Galactica fan and can spend days watching through the box sets over and over again. Maybe I’m wrong and there is a collective name for nerdy obsessives of the show like myself but if there isn’t I would like to propose a couple.

Here in England Star Trek fans are affectionately known as Trekkies – but us BSG fans have no name! No more!! I propose either Battlestar Galacticite or my favorite, Frakers.

What do you think, any ideas/suggestions (leave Caprica out of it – it’s shite) – keep up the good work.

    PS. Karen, love the voice.
